Acoustic designer and consultant, he graduated in Physical Sciences in Florence with a thesis in acoustics and specialised at the University of Ferrara. He is a Chartered Acoustician and a member of UNI/ISO, regularly participating in the commissions for the drafting of the new Italian regulations in acoustics and electroacoustics.

He starts his career cooperating with Fabrizio Giovannozzi and personally following all the works conducted by Studio Sound Service from 2008. In 2010 he became CEO and Technical Director of the company where he still works alongside his partner Cecilia Torracchi and other professionals and trainees.

To date he has designed more than 300 recording and audio-video (post)production studios (including the personal studios of Renato Zero, Andrea Bocelli, Marco Masini, Biagio Antonacci, Daniele Silvestri, Damian Lazarus, Diego Calvetti, Enrico Cremonesi (Fiorello), Fabio Rovazzi, Irko (Kanye West sound engineer), Merk & Kremont, Petra Magoni, Piero Pelù, Vinai, and other internationally renowned musicians and producers).
He worked for big companies such as Iyuno, SDI, Fox, Rai, Disney, Netflix e Cinecittà and has collaborated with other architecture and engineering firms for the design of churches, theaters, auditoriums, conference rooms, residential offices and home theaters.

He has ongoing collaborations with Genelec and Dolby for multichannel audio systems and was a consultant of B&C Speakers (+ Sound Architecture), Powersoft and K-Array for the research and development of their products.

He holds the chair of the course of Acoustics and Psychoacoustics at the Music School of Fiesole, he has lectured for seminars professional training courses, university masters (Multimedia Content Design organized by the University of Florence and Rai), Assoacustici, Order of Engineers of the Province of Rimini, music training centers (Percorsi Audio, Siena Jazz, MusicLab, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Conservatories of Florence and Lecce, AudioForum Connessioni).

He has been a speaker for many A.E.S. (Audio Engineering Society) and AIA (Italian Acoustics Association) conventions and was co-supervisor and for several degree theses in Engineering and Architecture.
He is a regular editor of the English magazine Resolution, a leader in professional audio, for which he writes technical articles on the acoustic design of audio facilities and has written for the Italian magazines Connessioni, Audiofader and Sound & Lite. Numerous works by Studio Sound Service have been reviewed by Italian and international magazines (Resolution, Headliner, PSNEurope, Connessioni, Audiofader, Sound & Lite, Musicoff).
