We are thrilled to announce the opening of AD Studio, a new technological hub located in Floridia (Syracuse). This project represents a powerful signal of innovation for the music industry in Southern Italy.

The creation of AD Studio is the result of an extraordinary journey. It was born from the vision of two young Sicilians who utilized the "Resto al Sud" grant to transform a deep passion into a high-level professional enterprise.

What makes AD Studio unique is the courage of its founders, Danilo Borderi and Armando Cartelli: despite entering the sector as newcomers, they chose to build the facility entirely on their own, meticulously following our technical designs. Studio Sound Service supported AD Studio throughout the four-year self-construction process:

• Consultancy & Adaptation: we provided constant support, adapting the design and resolving on-site challenges to ensure every construction detail met rigorous acoustic standards.

• Architecture & Design: the control room features a modern, dynamic look, defined by an elegant contrast between dark surfaces and bright yellow accents. The curved ceiling connects to a wooden front wall where Genelec monitors are flush-mounted.

• Ready for the future: in addition to the vocal booth, the technological heart of AD Studio is a control room pre-configured for Dolby Atmos, an investment that positions it among the most cutting-edge facilities in the region.

Despite the complexity of the build, the technical results are outstanding. During the final testing, acoustic measurements performed by our CEO and Technical Director, Donato Masci, confirmed excellent sound performance.

AD Studio is proof that with the right project and unwavering dedication, International standards can be achieved. The studio sounds incredibly good, and we are certain it will become a foundamental landmark for music production in Sicily.
