Studio Sound Service handled the acoustic and electroacoustic design of the auditorium within the new museum complex created in the former Cirio factory in Paestum. This space represents a key element of the area's redevelopment project, aimed at creating the new entrance to the Archaeological Park and the National Museum. The intervention involved an integrated approach, combining architectural acoustic solutions with an advanced electroacoustic system, to ensure versatility and optimal performance in various usage configurations. The design addressed specific challenges related to adapting an industrial space for cultural use, with particular attention to reverberation control, acoustic isolation, and optimization of the environment's frequency response. The result is a multifunctional space capable of hosting conferences, projections, small concerts, and performances with excellent intelligibility and sound quality, significantly contributing to the cultural and educational offerings of the museum.
