Caffè dell'Oro, a gem of the Lungarno Collection overlooking the Ponte Vecchio, is located in a high-traffic area where background noise threatened the acoustic comfort and client experience. Our intervention transformed this space into an oasis of calm in the heart of Florence.

The initial challenge: acoustics and architecture 

The venue featured a medium-quality audio system and, crucially, a significant reverb issue caused by slatted ceilings without sound-absorbing material. The goal was to ensure high comfort without disrupting the elegant interior design.

The Studio Sound Service Solution:

1. Essential acoustic correction: We installed high-density black sound-absorbing material above the existing ceiling slats. This entirely invisible intervention drastically reduced background noise, ensuring that table conversations were undisturbed by bar sounds or external traffic.

2. K-Array audio upgrade: Subsequently, the system was upgraded with K-Array speakers. The choice of these ultra-compact speakers was essential for perfect architectural integration (the speakers "escape the eye") and for high acoustic quality, offering an enveloping and faithful sound.

3. Professional tuning: The final step was the system's multi-microphone calibration (using software like Smaart). This process guaranteed sound homogeneity at every point of the venue and ad-hoc equalization, ensuring the music was pleasant and never intrusive, enhancing privacy between tables.

The Result:
