Mulinetti Recording Studio was born in 1989 in a beautiful villa of XVII century on the sea at Recco between the promontory of Portofino and Genoa.
Alberto Parodi already owner of the studio Scaccomatto in Lavagna, after a successful series of dance productions was looking for the right place to give birth to a residential studio in order to create a paradise for the audio productions.
Immediately was a success, they recorded many artists among the most crucial on the national panorama and after a few years many international artists.
In 2002, the recording industry is in a deep crisis, productions begin to drastically reduce the available budget and the studio is forced to close.
Alberto Parodi takes a year to manage the closure of a structure so large and complex, and to reflect on its future, after which he understands that recording and mixing are the only thing he really loves to do.
In 2003 he created the LOGICALBOX and builds, in an apartment that partially used to live, a 5.1 control room for mixing and the mastering of about 30 sqm, he was dedicated to the recording of live concerts and events, field recordings on the set and to mix in stereo and 5.1. The years pass and slowly but surely, with the technology that can offer an even better experience affordable for all budgets, it becomes increasingly clear that it was not enough to have only one control room.
The time had come to reconstruct a real recording studio, with spaces dedicated to miking more musicians simultaneously, a place that would include a control room with the right size to have a neutral listening experience.
Work began in the summer of 2014 and five months later the new Mulinetti Studio was born.
This state of the art facility is approximately 200  in total, with a large control room of 40  that is surrounded by four clear recording areas that are all acoustically treated.
